What you will be doing:
- The Head of Production lead the mass-production operations, responsible for development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Fieldin's production and operation processes
- The employee will be the owner and responsible for taking a product from a Beta-phase and bring it to a mass-production of thousands of units per year.
- This includes managing the product’s BOM, aligning with the hardware R&D team any modifications in the product, being accountable for production times, and overseeing supply chain and inventory processes.
- This includes creating/maintaining/setting productions policies, manuals, and directives.
- The Head of Production ensures policies and procedures are followed and work closely with the procurement team, hardware R&D team, and product team to make sure that the product is delivered on time and on the required quality.
- The Head of Production reports to the Chief Autonomous and Business Development Officer and will spend on average 3 days a week in the Tel-Aviv office and 2 in the Yokneam office.
Essential Functions :
- Build and lead the production department for Fieldin hardware.
- Make sure that the product’s production meets the required timeline and quality
- Identify bottlenecks and risks in the production process
- Cost center budget management aimed at reducing cost and increasing efficiency
- Provide quality assurance process for a multidisciplinary product
- Formulate production concepts & work procedures.
- Accountable for ensuring full regulatory compliance and legal requirements.
- Develop and establish directives and procedures and other tasks related to the production department
Desired experience and skills:
- More than 5 years of direct production, operations, or related experience is required.
- Experience in deployment and production of electronic products
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in management of procurement, supply chain, and electronic production
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- Ability to work well with remote management and staff
- ERP system knowledge and in technological procurement management models, NetSuite – Advantage.
- Managing budgets & income strategies.
- B.Sc. in Engineering/ B.Sc. logistic – Advantage.
- Experience in bringing a product to the market from a BOM and schematic status – Huge advantage
