UCT Fluid Solutions Is a leading global company that develops, manufactures and markets innovative fluid controls solutions for various industries and looking for Senior Systems Engineer to join us.
we are looking for an experienced individual who can design, deploy and manage enterprise-grade datacenter infrastructure, including virtualization, storage, and networking.
The ideal candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, enjoy being part of a fast-paced, but rewarding technical environment and be comfortable presenting to audiences.
Reporting to Sr Manager of IT Infrastructure.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience managing VMWare vSphere including vcenter upgrades and migrations.
• Experience storage technologies to include iSCSI, FC, CIFS/SMB, NFS (HPE Nimble/HPE MSA a plus).
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server OS.
• Experience in scripting languages.
• Experience in AWS is a plus.
• Experience with Routing/switching and firewalls including routing protocols, VLANs, SDWAN, Port channel/Trunks, and SSL VPN
Educational & Experience Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field
• Technical certifications are highly desirable: VMware VCP, CCNP/IE, AWS. Azure
• Minimum 10 year experience working in Information Technology roles
• Minimum 3 year experience building, deploying, maintaining, virtualization platforms
• Minimum 3 year experience in advanced storage configuration role
• Minimum 1 year exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
