Job Description
In this position, the engineer will be required to:
Perform mechanical design as part of a multidisciplinary environment.
Lead projects of mechanical development from requirements to a full production file
Perform tests and experiments.
Adapt design to extreme environmental conditions while keeping low manufacturing cost.
Required Expertise and Skills
7+ years of experience in mechanical design from concept to detailed design – Must
Able to work under high level of uncertainty.

Experience in designing systems planned to perform under extreme environmental conditions – Advantage
Experience in NPI – Must
Experienced in leading subcontractors (Industrial Design, Designers, Molds Manufacturers, etc)
Experience with Solidworks – Must
Experience in writing requirements and test documents – Must
Experience in plastic enclosure of hardware products for wet environment - Advantage
Experience with working in a PDM environment – Advantage
Experience in designing parts for injection plastic molds – Advantage
