What you will be doing:
* As the QA Manager at Fieldin, you will be fully responsible for assessing and communicating the quality of Fieldin’s software at any given time
* You will strongly advocate for proper QA process and procedure, insisting on the correct documentation of QA test cases, plans and procedures
* You will review the work of the team, making sure that the testing defined adequately assesses the quality of the work at hand, looking beyond the current feature or release, and validating any other affected areas are covered
* You will make recommendations to the automation teams for which tests should be automated, which should be a part of the CI/CD process, and which should be part of the regression cycle
* You will be a strong advocate for quality and the customer
* You will manage the QA team to ensure compliance with the goals listed here
Desired experience and skills:
* Proven experience in QA, both as an individual contributor, and as a team leader/manager
* Experience in working with a complex decentralized system, SaaS solutions, and short release cycles
* Experience with SaaS products & cloud computing Dev/Ops
* Ability to multitask and handle various priorities
* Strong leader, with an “unblockable” attitude, continuously looking for ways to improve and move forward
* Excellent written and verbal English skills
Nice to have also:
* Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
* Python scripting experience, or any programming experience
